Problem
Ann Inc. needed to evolve how store associates engaged with customers—shifting from transactional interactions to a more consultative, personalized experience.
Their internal training program, The Client Experience, lacked cohesive, engaging materials to bring this vision to life. Existing tools were fragmented and overly functional, making it difficult for associates to adopt and consistently deliver a higher-touch customer experience across stores.
Solution
Led creative direction to transform retail training into a clear, cohesive internal communication system.
Reframed training as a brand experience—designing a unified suite of tools (Style Guide, Coaching Guide, Clothing Fit Guide) that made expectations simple, visual, and actionable for associates. Created a consistent visual and verbal language that aligned internal communications with the brand, improving clarity and adoption at scale
Used storytelling and design to empower retail associates—giving them the confidence and tools to deliver more personalized, consultative customer interactions
Art directed the “Grow Together” culture video, reinforcing shared values and strengthening connection between corporate and retail teams
